Life on the fast track

Have you sped through your day full speed and at the end of it, at 10pm you realize you forgot to turn in a chemistry worksheet?

Well, I admit I am one of those people. My pastor was preaching recently about how our life is very short.

When we are young and someone asks how old we are we say "Six and a half!" and by the time we are thirty halves are no longer needed.

We spend the first part of our life wanting to adults and the second part of our life wanting to be younger.

Time is precious and many of us do not realize this until its too late.

I felt led to share this because we have had a couple of deaths recently and having someone close to you or a person you once knew dead is a wake up call.

Life is short and people don't realize it, taking everything for granted. I am not accusing anyone because I am guilty of the same thing.

Slowing down and appreciating every good thing that comes your way is better for you then just surveying all the wrong.
Its harder to do but better for you in the long run. So you may be reading this and decide that you should double check your schoolwork:) or remember that life is short and that the time you have is gold.

Faith

So I am tired of posting things about me. I am not used to it, I have told you pretty much all that I can. I wonder sometimes if I am alone but I feel like I can't always let people know everything about me. I am a private person but I want to be more open, this blog I hope will help. So what is the definition of faith?
1 Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
2 strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
So what do you put your faith in? Is it a person or a thing?
Do you have faith in many things? What you put your faith in is a big part in who you are.
It defines a part of your character, it may change you, for better or worse.
Now I ask you, have you ever suffered from something?
I don't mean, "Oh my life is so horrible, my mom took away my iphone!" or "My parents are so old fashioned they aren't allowing me to date!"
That isn't suffering, that is complaining.
Suffering is the more like when you have a dying family member, a friend relationship that isn't the best, loneliness, heart breaking and wrenching events that have altered your life.
I know for sure everyone reading this had suffered in some sort of way. It's how we grow.
Like running a marathon, you have to practice to be good at it.
Now if you feel offended in anyway I am sorry but this is one of the truths I have learned and decided to share.
