I was watching a commercial on KET and I just had this Really Really awesome plot bunny!
And its not magic if you don't it to be!

I spent a lot of time dreaming this up okay ya'll?

Now, Imagine that in the future, when you read books, holograms of the characters and their surroundings pop up out of the book. Great right? Now you are a book worm and a writer who is yet to be famous. You often wish that the characters you saw were actually real.
Until one day, one of them in the book (Inkheart anyone!?) talk to you.
Looking down at the book you realize he/she is talking to you.
What do they say?
Is it only them who can talk??
Why can they talk?
What do you do about it?

Now I need some continuations in the comments.
