What does it take to be popular?

Celebrity, do they have to give up their right to privacy to become popular?

I have often wondered this and recently had to answer the question.

There may be many different views on this and please note that this is my opinion, what I believe about this matter.

This does not mean I am right, this is just an opinion.

Everyone can name a celebrity and know a little something about them.

Granted they can't live a private life but everyone has a right to privacy.

Why is privacy so important?

Truth is, we all have something to hide, something that we don't want everyone to know about.

We hide that away in the deepest corner of our souls but if you look at the magazines the celebrities are having it pried from them.

Some ask, "People on social media aren't at all private, why should celebrities?"

That statement isn't at all true, everyone has something to hide."

I think that some celebrities may release their privacy at their disposal, this of course is to get attention.

Now this really isn't about celebrities, this is about everyone.

To be anyone, you need to get attention, to do that you either fabricate (not pointing fingers at any celebrity in particular) or you give up your privacy.

People want to know everyone's secrets.

Curiosity killed the cat, curiosity killed the cat because the cat was curious in the wrong thing.

Privacy is important whether we acknowledge that in public or not.
